Canoe Is One Of The Most Emblematic Symbols Of Canada

The canoe is part of the heritage of the indigenous populations.  In the past it was the only means of transportation able to move in the waterways that span throughout the country.

Nowadays paddling is still a common activity, thanks to the thousands of trails around Canada. At the Canadian Canoe Museum, in Peterborough, you can find the world’s largest collection of canoes. In our three weeks at the Smoothwater Outfitters we fell in love with paddling, and we’re feeling part of this heritage 🛶.
